Another Good Week

For the numbers. Not so much for “expectations” which the economy continues to wrong-foot.

First time claims were expected to come in at 305,000.  The actual number was 284,000.  Which makes for the lowest level since February 2006.  There will be a lot of slicing and dicing of the numbers and labor force participation still remains the number that tells the biggest story. But this is unqualified good news.
