OFFICER MARVIN WALKER

The Montgomery County police officer helped revive a toddler who had stopped breathing after possibly ingesting a prescription medicine. On Friday afternoon, officers responded to a home on Centerhill Street in Silver Spring, and the child’s mother led them to a bedroom where the 19-month-old was lying on the bed, blue and not breathing. Walker began performing CPR for three to four minutes until Fire/Rescue units arrived. The child resumed breathing and is expected to survive.
