A newspaper in the Dominican Republic is apologizing after it mistakenly ran a photo of actor Alec Baldwin portraying Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live” instead of the president himself.
El Nacional on Friday published a photo of Baldwin imitating Trump with a story headlined in Spanish: “Trump says settlements in Israel don’t favor peace.” The photo appears next to a photo of Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
On Saturday, the paper apologized.
“El Nacional apologizes to its readers and anyone who felt affect by the publication” of the photo, the statement said, according to the Associated Press.
