Billionaire Democratic donor Tom Steyer hasn’t eliminated the possibility of running for president in 2020, according to a new report.
“I’m not ruling it out,” Steyer said when asked about his 2020 ambitions, according to NBC News. “I’m not ruling anything out. Because I’m really going to look and see what is the thing that will make the biggest difference.”
“I’m completely committed to this,” he added. “I think we’re in a constitutional crisis. I believe we’re in a world crisis. And I know we’re in a political crisis. And so, I believe that I want to be one of the people who shows up in the crisis to do the right thing. I think that’s very American. And I want to be a part of that — very badly.”

The comments come after Steyer accused “reckless, dangerous, and lawless” Trump of obstructing justice and allegedly conducting impeachable offenses during a speech at the Des Moines Register Political Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair on Tuesday.
Steyer also claimed that ousting Trump would be the patriotic response.
“Let me say this: Impeachment, we take very seriously. We are not trying to impeach this president because we disagree with his tax policy,” Steyer said, per the Des Moines Register.
Steyer said a final decision on a presidential bid will come after the 2018 midterm elections.
