Kimberly Guilfoyle joins Trump 2020 campaign as senior adviser

Kimberly Guilfoyle is joining the Trump reelection campaign as a senior adviser.

The move was made public Monday evening in a press release announcing additional staff being added to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.

“President Trump has a clear record of accomplishments and promises kept as he continues to Make America Great Again,” Brad Parscale, Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, said in a statement. “These exceptional additions to the re-election effort will help us take our case to the voters and ensure victory.”

Guilfoyle, who is dating President Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr., has been a part of the pro-Trump PAC America First Action since the summer of 2018. The PAC congratulated Guilfoyle on the new role, calling her a “tireless advocate” for Trump.

“We are thrilled Vice Chairwoman Kimberly Guilfoyle is joining the Trump Campaign in a Senior Adviser role,” America First Action said in a statement Monday. “Ms. Guilfoyle was an incredible asset at America First Action, Donald J. Trump’s official super PAC. While it’s a loss for us, it’s a gain for the campaign. Ms. Guilfoyle has been a tireless advocate for the president, an unflinching champion for his policies, and an impassioned spokeswoman for the cause.”

Guilfoyle joined Fox News as a host in 2006, and became co-host of “The Five” in 2011. In July she announced her departure from Fox News to join America First Action.
