Clinton campaign mocks Trump’s Scotland visit

As Donald Trump heads to Scotland for the week, Hillary Clinton’s campaign launched a new video mocking his local unpopularity.

Over three and a half days, Trump will visit several Scottish properties and play golf. He has no political meetings on his agenda, and that’s likely partly due to the fact that Trump has angered numerous British lawmakers. There was even a petetition to keep Trump out of Britain. The motion was never passed.

The Clinton campaign’s “Trump in Scotland” video shows footage of British Prime Minister David Cameron, First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Parliament members Tulip Siddiq and Kack Dromey criticizing the GOP nominee. The video also recounts many Trump comments that angered people in the United Kingdom.

The presumptive GOP nominee once challenged London’s new mayor to an IQ test

“If this is how he treats our greatest ally as a candidate, imagine his foreign policy as president,” the Clinton campaign wrote in a statement accompanying the video.

The statement concluded, “All we can say is: We know how you feel, Scotland.”
