Samuel L. Jackson, an actor famous for his delivery of vulgar language, offered his support to the freshman House Democrat criticized for calling President Trump a “motherfucker.”
“@RashidaTlaib I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherfucking goal last week,” Jackson tweeted on Sunday, referring to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich. “Calling that Muthafukkah a Motherfucker is not an issue, calling that Muthaffuqah President Is!!!”

Tlaib, one of the first two Muslim women to be seated in Congress, dropped the expletive last week at an event hosted by progressive organization MoveOn.
“Look mama, you won. Bullies don’t win,” the Democratic Socialist told attendees, relaying what one of her two sons said to her after her win last year. “You’re right, they don’t. And we’re gonna go in and impeach the motherfucker,” Tlaib said she replied.
Tlaib’s comment provoked anger from congressional Republicans and a mixed response from her Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill. President Trump described her choice of words as “disgraceful,” adding that she had “dishonored her family.”
Jackson’s penchant for profanities, in particular his constant use of the word “motherfucker” in his work, has inspired fans to post a number of compilation videos on the Internet. One of his most famous lines as an actor comes from 2006 cult hit, “Snakes on a Plane.”
“Enough is enough. I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane. Everybody strap in. I’m about to open some fucking windows,” his FBI agent character Neville Flynn said.
