Lawyer for Epstein accusers wants to subpoena Prince Andrew if he comes to US

A lawyer for several women accusing Jeffrey Epstein of sexual misconduct said she would look to have Prince Andrew subpoenaed if he comes to the United States.

“We could, also, in our civil lawsuit, seek to subpoena Prince Andrew. Certainly, if he ever came back to the United States, that would be one of the first things that I’m sure a lot of lawyers, including me, would want to do,” attorney Gloria Allred said on BBC Radio 4’s Today show.

The comments come a day after U.S. prosecutor Geoffrey Berman said the prince has offered “zero cooperation” so far in the investigation of the deceased financier. Prince Andrew previously promised he would be “willing to help” law enforcement with the investigation.

In November, Prince Andrew was forced to withdraw from public duties after he gave an interview that many saw as an inadequate response to allegations that he was involved with sex crimes perpetuated by Epstein. Virginia Giuffre has accused both Epstein and Prince Andrew of raping her when she was a minor. He has denied all allegations.
