Young Preacher Endorses Quayle

Republican congressman Ben Quayle of Arizona may have received the most critical endorsement of his primary against fellow congressman David Schweikert. Black civil rights activist Reverend Jarrett Maupin of Phoenix has endorsed Quayle over Schweikert, the Phoenix New Times reports, with some rather colorful language:

For the second straight election, African-American civil-rights activist Reverend Jarrett Maupin has endorsed Republican Congressman Ben Quayle.

Yes, politics aside, the Phoenix Democrat wants Quayle to stay in office — mostly because he’s a cool, young guy.
