Multiple Fox News personalities hit back at President Trump for tweeting that the network is no longer “working for us anymore.”
Trump made the initial comments in a Twitter thread he posted Wednesday morning. The thread began as a complaint over anchor Sandra Smith allowing, according to him, Democratic National Committee Communications Director Xochitl Hinojosa to say “whatever she wanted with zero pushback.”
He went on to allege that “the New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!”
….I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!

Network senior political analyst Brit Hume responded to the president, saying, “Fox News isn’t supposed to work for you.” Fox News contributor and Townhall political editor Guy Benson reiterated that sentiment, tweeting, “We don’t work for you.”

In the president’s latest Twitter tirade, he also attacked Donna Brazile, Shep Smith, and Juan Williams. All three of them have found themselves facing the ire of the president in the month of August. Aside from being critical of those individuals, Trump has also ridiculed the network’s polls in recent weeks.
UPDATE: Fox News declined to comment on the president’s tweets. The network generally does not release statements after Trump is critical of the network.
