Life is Sweet!

Serious dessert junkies, listen up. On Monday night, you can taste desserts created specially by 20 of the Washington area’s top chefs, all in one place, and the event raises money for charity. Talk about a win-win situation.

The seventh annual Life is Sweet runs from 7 until 10 p.m. at the Artisphere in Arlington. It benefits Best Buddies Virginia, which creates employment and life opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Participating chefs include Cathal Armstrong (Restaurant Eve), R.J. Cooper (Rogue 24), Michel Richard (Citronelle) and Robert Wiedmaier (Equinox), along with this year’s event chair, former White House pastry chef Roland Mesnier. And each of the chefs are working with their Buddies.

Tickets are $75. To purchase them, or for more information, click here or call (703) 533-9420.
