Two U of Md. students injured in lab explosion

Two University of Maryland students were injured in an explosion at a classroom building Monday in College Park.

Around 12:30 p.m. Monday, a chemical reaction occured inside a labroatory in the chemistry building, causing an explosion and small fire inside the large four-story building, according to Mark Brady, spokesman for the Prince George’s County fire department.
