A guest slammed Fox News host Laura Ingraham while on her show Wednesday evening, calling her out for losing sponsors after she mocked a Parkland, Fla., shooting survivor.
Enrique Morones, the founder of the human rights group Border Angels, made the remarks while on “The Ingraham Angle” with John Cox, a Republican candidate in the California gubernatorial race.
“Where’s your sponsors?” Morones said to Ingraham. “David Hogg got rid of half of them.”
The remarks came after Ingraham criticized Morones for being “rude and nasty” to his fellow guest.
“I don’t know who this guy is. Who is this guy?” Morones asked after Cox said he was “going to be the next governor” of California.
“Enrique, I just want to tell you, God bless you, I really, I wish the best for you. But you have been so incredibly rude and nasty since almost the first second of this, you know, appearance,” Ingraham responded.
“I’m sure he doesn’t know who you are,” she added.
Morones cut in and ridiculed Ingraham for her loss in sponsors.
“High school kids shut you down,” Morones said.
More than 20 sponsors dropped Ingraham’s show after she mocked Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg earlier this month for not being accepted to multiple universities.
Ingraham apologized to Hogg after he called for a boycott of her sponsors, but he refused to accept her apology.
The drop in Ingraham’s sponsors have only seemed to help her viewership. Since returning from a planned vacation last week, her ratings are up 27 percent, according to Neilson Media Research.
