Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, a former State Department official, sidestepped questions about Hillary Clinton’s exclusive use of a private email address in testimony today on Capitol Hill:
Lew does admit, however, that he emailed with Mrs. Clinton when she was secretary of state. But he refuses to answer more detailed questions.
“This is how bad it gets when an Obama official is publicly asked about Hillary Clinton’s private email,” writes America Rising, who found the video.
“Congressman Sean Duffy pressed U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew about his emails with Hillary Clinton’s private email account. Lew essentially claimed he couldn’t remember if he knew that Clinton’s email was private.
“The only thing that Jack Lew makes clear in this exchange is how uncomfortable he is talking about Hillary Clinton’s private email account.”
