LOS ANGELES (AP) — An insurance salesman has been sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole 11 years after the murders of a neighbor, her toddler and the child’s nanny in Los Angeles.
Robin Kyu Cho was convicted of the killings two years ago, but sentencing was delayed by numerous motions by Cho, who maintained his innocence.
Cho tried again Friday, asking for another 30-day continuance to raise new issues, but the judge refused, saying there was nothing more to consider.
Family members of the victims sobbed as they recounted their lives since the three were found shot to death. The husband of Chi Jyon Song said he had to endure being a considered a suspect in the deaths of his wife, son and nanny until Cho was arrested six years later.
