Get ready for your best shot ever at getting those elusive tickets to the annual National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony Dec. 1 on the Ellipse.
The National Park Service is offering more tickets than usual — 3,000 more standing-room passes in additional to the 11,000 that had been offered in the past. Of course, you can always hope for one of the 3,000 tickets that’ll get you a grandstand seat. (Yeah, right).
The ticket lottery opens at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 and will run through Nov. 7 at 9:59 p.m. Tickets will be mailed to the lottery winners.
