Trump defends Carrier deal in Sunday morning tweetstorm

President-elect Trump seemingly responded to pushback against his deal with Carrier last week in a series of tweets Sunday morning.

After announcing a deal with the furnace and air conditioner maker to keep over 1,000 jobs at an Indiana factory from moving to Mexico, critics immediately pounced on the details of the agreement, which included $7 million in tax breaks offered by Indiana, calling it corporate welfare and warning that it would not be a viable long-term strategy to keep other jobs in the U.S.
