Doctor who went viral with unproven coronavirus ‘cure’ claims demon dream sex causes health problems

In a viral tweet that President Trump shared with his audience, Dr. Stella Immanuel claimed that the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine is a “cure” for COVID-19.

Twitter removed the video, as did other social media platforms, citing misinformation. It turns out Immanuel, a pediatrician and religious minister, has promoted a number of controversial and outlandish beliefs over the years.

According to the Daily Beast, the doctor has claimed that gynecological issues such as endometriosis and cysts can be caused by having sex with demons or witches in your dreams. “They turn into a woman, and then they sleep with the man and collect his sperm,” Immanuel said in a sermon. “Then they turn into the man, and they sleep with a man and deposit the sperm and reproduce more of themselves.”

She also claimed that DNA from space aliens is being used in medical treatments and that the government is being run, in part, by “reptilians.”

At an event organized by Tea Party Patriots, a group backed by wealthy Republican donors, Immanuel delivered her now-viral speech in which she also claimed masks are not an effective tool to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.

As her comments began to wrap up, participants and organizers from the event tried to get her away from the microphone, but, at that point, it was too late.

Her comments went viral, getting picked up by scores of individuals on the Right. Conservative student group Turning Point USA shared the video. Conservative personalities Diamond & Silk did so as well. Donald Trump Jr. and his father shared the video, and the former was suspended from Twitter for doing so.

After the video was removed from Facebook and Twitter, Immanuel posted on Twitter, “Hello Facebook put back my profile page and videos up or your computers with start crashing till you do. You are not bigger that God. I promise you. If my page is not back up face book will be down in Jesus name.”
