Chelsea Handler apologizes to Bill Clinton accuser Juanita Broaddrick: ‘I believe you’

Liberal comedian Chelsea Handler apologized to Juanita Broaddrick late Wednesday for “not knowing” her story.

Broaddrick accused former President Bill Clinton of raping her when she was a volunteer on his Arkansas gubernatorial campaign.

On Sunday, Handler asked what kind of message it sends to young girls that they can be inappropriately touched by an older man, and that man can go on to become a U.S. senator.

Broaddrick responded to Handler, saying she was raped by Clinton and NBC held her interview explaining the incident until after his impeachment hearing.

“But I’m sure you don’t want to go there,” Broaddrick said.

Handler apologized to Broaddrick on Wednesday night.

“You are right and I apologize to you for not knowing your story,” Handler responded. “Democrats along with Republicans and the rest of the world’s political parties all need to do better and respect the firsthand accounts of victims. I believe you.”

Broaddrick’s story has been pushed back into the spotlight as Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, a Republican, faces allegations of groping teenage girls.

Liberals are now saying Clinton should have resigned following the accusations and his accusers should have been believed at the time.
