A nurse busted one of her patients shopping at a store just hours after she tested positive for COVID, according to a TikTok video.
The nurse, who goes by @EliiCoco on social media, scolded the patient in a TikTok video for disregarding health guidelines.
“When you see the patient that you swabbed earlier who tested positive for Covid in the line at Ross,” the nurse’s video caption reads. “I told you to stay home and recover sis.”

The video does not reveal the patient’s identity but shows a shot of her feet as she stands in a Ross department store. The video went viral and currently has over a million views.
The video does not show any confrontation between the healthcare worker and her rule-breaking patient, and it is unclear if the patient recognized the nurse in the store at the time.

“CDC says no symptoms is ok to shop at Ross and Marshalls. Not TjMaxx though,” another joked.
“She should definitely be at home but don’t healthcare workers have to go to work even if they test positive for COVID? How does that make sense?” one user asked, referring to a recent report that COVID-positive healthcare workers in Rhode Island are allowed to continue working amid a staffing shortage.
