“You’re fired!” was Donald Trump’s famous catchphrase on more than a dozen seasons of “The Apprentice.”
Trump criticized traits like impulsivity when booting contestants from the boardroom. In one episode, he fired a team member for “an impulsive decision — a stupid, impulsive, life-threatening decision that frankly, if you were running a company and made that kind of decision, you’d destroy that company instantaneously,” according to Trump.
Yet many of President Trump’s tweets have been described as “impulsive”…

Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

Interruptions were also grounds for dismissal by The Donald.
“I’m getting ready to almost fire this guy for being a horrible leader and you interrupt me,” said Trump in another show. “Ya know what, you’re fired.”
Yet President Trump routinely cuts people off.
In a February press conference, Trump interrupted a reporter who asked, “On the travel ban, would you accept that that was a good example of the smooth running of government and —?” President Trump cut him off, saying, “Yeah I do. Wait, wait, wait. I know who you are. Just wait.”
So given his reality show reasoning … would then-TV boss Donald Trump have already pushed himself out of the Oval Office?
Doubtful … when asked whether the White House has chosen to be combative, President Trump recently told Time magazine, “the only way you survive is to be combative.”
