Crude oil production jumps in Washtenaw County

SALINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — State records say the amount of crude oil flowing out of Washtenaw County wells in 2012 was about seven times higher than the previous year.

AnnArbor.com reports (http://bit.ly/YUEoFj ) that is the biggest jump in oil production the area has seen in decades.
