Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump warned Friday if rival Hillary Clinton wins the November election, the U.S. economy would plummet to conditions worse than Venezuela’s current crisis.
The New York businessman told the crowd of 3,000 attendees at a rally in The Woodlands, Texas, a Clinton administration could appoint up to five Supreme Court justices, which would send the country into a severe decline.
“We will be a large-scale version of Venezuela and it won’t be pretty,” Trump said.
Trump insisted the next president must pick “great justices” because “if we don’t, we’re not gonna have a country anymore.”
