The mayor of Brentwood in Prince George’s County has been evicted from her home.
Xzavier Montgomery-Wright was evicted Wednesday. Her landlord told the Associated Press that she’s behind about $7,000 in rent. Her home is on 37th Place.
Montgomery-Wright is running for re-election. Voters head to the polls May 2.
The mayor has made headlines before. She was censured for billing personal expenses on a town debit card.
