P.G. police offer reward in Langley Park murder

Prince George’s County police are offering up to $25,000 for help catching a man wanted in connection with a murder in Langley Park.

Officers found Saul Felipe-Augustine, believed to be 23 years old, suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment building on the 1400 block of Kanawha Street on July 14, according to police. Family members could not confirm his exact age. Felipe-Augustine was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are looking for Rudy Ismael Manchame-Guerra, who authorities said should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police investigate shooting in Greenbelt

Police are investigating a shooting in Greenbelt that sent one victim to the hospital.

Greenbelt police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:04 p.m. Friday afternoon on the 7900 block of Mandan Road. Police found an adult male outside an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to Prince George’s Trauma Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

Officers were unable to locate the suspect, who police described as a black male with a thin build, wearing a white t-shirt. – Ben Giles
