Maryland bank robber flees scene on bike

SEVERN, Md. (AP) — Police in Anne Arundel County are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Severn and fled on a bike.

Anne Arundel County Police say it happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Bay Bank in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road.

Officials say the man entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding cash. Officials say the man took the cash and fled on a blue bicycle that was later found in a parking lot. The robber was described as between 19 and 24 years old. He was last seen wearing a black knit hat and carrying a black backpack.

No one was injured during the robbery.
