President Joe Biden is addressing the United Nations General Assembly today for the second time since he became president.
Biden is joining nearly 200 world leaders who are gathering to discuss the war between Ukraine and Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also address the General Assembly remotely after Biden, and the U.N. Security Council is convening on Thursday to discuss the conflict.

Biden is also set to discuss several foreign policy initiatives that have been put in place since he took office, including a $2.9 billion investment plan to combat global food insecurity.
He is expected to meet shortly after with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and new British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

Biden also will make appearances at the Seventh Replenishment Conference for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, as well as a leaders reception at the American Museum of Natural History.
