Senator: US-backed media aired ‘blatantly anti-Semitic’ program in Cuba

A media outlet focused on Cuba but operated through the U.S. government referred to liberal billionaire George Soros as a “Jew of flexible morals,” drawing Senate calls for an investigation of the “blatantly anti-Semitic” programming.

“This blatantly anti-Semitic, vitriolic, propagandistic rhetoric has no place in American society, much less from a U.S. government funded entity,” New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee, wrote in a Wednesday letter.
