The Democratic National Convention suffered an early snafu when Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake forgot to formally gavel the convention to order.
After Rawlings-Blake announced that she was hearby calling the Democratic National Convention to order, she walked offstage without actually sealing the deal. She was escorted back and ran up to the podium to set things right.
Rawlings-Blake took over gaveling duties at the last minute Monday after Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced she would resign as head of the DNC.
