The language-teaching software giant Rosetta Stone announced Thursday that it has hired former D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty as an outside consultant.
Why?
“Fenty’s strong ties to the community and record of positive change, as well as his connections to education, government and corporate decision-makers, will be valuable assets for the Washington, DC-area company,” a Rosetta Stone press release said.
They seem to have forgotten that Fenty lost is re-election bid, in large part, because he lacked connections to the community he represented.
