Maryland State Police are searching for two juveniles who escaped from a detention facility in Baltimore County a week ago.
The first escapee is Justin Russell, 15, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 133 pounds. The second escapee is Davon Julius, 16, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Both hail from Baltimore City, and were being held at the Charles H. Hickey School in Carney.
State police from the Golden Ring Barracks were called to the Hickey School, shortly after 8:30 p.m. on July 31, about 15 minutes after the two teenagers were discovered missing.
School officials reported the two had been in a group of four youths taken to the medical satellite building shortly after 8 p.m. to receive their medications.
Their method of departure from the facility remains unclear, police said.
Maryland State Police initiated an immediate search, assisted by the Baltimore and Baltimore County police departments. Helicopter and K-9 units assisted in the search throughout the night, but the youths were not located.
The search two has continued, with assistance from the Warrant Fugitive Task Force.
At a hearing Monday Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge John Trunbull ruled that the names and photographs of these two juvenile escapees could be made public to assist police in quickly apprehending them.
Police ask anyone with information to call 911, or state police at 410-780-2700.
