Wet weather moved out of the Washington area this afternoon, but forecasters warned that another storm system could arrive later today.
The National Weather Service reported that Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport had recorded 1.1 inches of rain by noon today. Dulles International Airport picked up 0.95 inches.
Forecasters said the region has another chance of storms after 4 p.m. today with the high temperature reaching about 50 degrees.
Rain will move out on Thursday, with sunny skies and a high of 65.
The average high on today’s date at Reagan airport is 51 degrees, according to weather service records.
