2020 presidential front-runner Joe Biden botched his concluding warning to voters, suggesting that President Trump could serve eight more years in the White House.
Attempting a line he includes in almost every appearance he makes, Biden said, “We’re in a battle for the soul of America. This is the most consequential election anyone of you no matter how old or young you are has ever, ever participated in.
“Four more years of Donald Trump will go down as an aberration. Hard to over come the damage he’s done, but we can over come it. Eight more years of Donald Trump will change America in a fundamental the America we know will no longer exist.”
Trump is constitutionally limited to one more four-year term after 2020. The statement was a mangling of his standard line: “Four years of Donald Trump would be an aberration in American history. Eight years will fundamentally change who we are as a nation.”
The statement appeared to go wrong when Biden said “four more years” instead of four years. Biden seemed to realize and tried to correct by saying “eight more years,” but succeeded only in making his warning even more puzzling.
“TTP” — Joe Biden

The former vice president stumbled several times over statistics, phrases, and titles during the debate. At one point he called New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker “president,” and at another point he referred to the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, as the “TTP.”
