WATCH: Samsung unveils new flip phones and earbuds


New cellphone season is in full effect with Samsung announcing its latest line of flip smartphones.

The tech company unveiled its Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Galaxy Z Fold4 on Wednesday.

The Galaxy Z Flip4, which starts at $999.99, features a 6.7-inch screen and will come in Bora purple and graphite, pink gold, and blue.

The Galaxy Z Fold4 will start at $1799.99 and has a 7.6-inch screen. It is being offered in gray-green, beige, and “phantom black,” and burgundy.

Samsung said the devices are the “toughest foldables ever.”

Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, which are also available for pre-sale. The re-designed earbuds feature hi-fi 24-bit audio and retail for $229.99.

Apple, meanwhile, is expected to announce its iPhone 14 sometime in September.
