Washington Redskins legend Sam Huff will be honored Sept. 15 at FedEx Field, when West Virginia plays James Madison University on “Sam Huff Day.” Huff will be recognized in a ceremony before the game and at halftime and will also be the Mountaineers’ honorary captain for the game. Huff starred at linebacker for West Virginia and for the Redskins, and is in both the college and pro football halls of fame. Huff, 77, still works as a color commentator on Redskins broadcasts. — Roxanne Turnbull
