VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Country music artist Darius Rucker will perform a free concert for military members in Hampton Roads.
The Navy says Rucker will perform at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story in Virginia Beach on Oct. 10. The base is home to amphibious warships and special warfare forces, among other things.
The Navy says the concert is not open to the public, but those who are authorized to be on a military base are encouraged to attend.
The concert is sponsored by the Air Force Reserve and is part of the Tour for the Troops concert series. A guest appearance will be made by the band A Thousand Horses.
