MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski questioned whether Rudy Giuliani was drunk during an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo that devolved into a 30 minute shouting match.
“You guys were talking about the madness and sort of I don’t even know if there’s inebriation here, what is going on,” Brzezinski said Friday on Morning Joe.
Host Joe Scarborough, 56, pushed back on her theory calling it a “bridge too far.”
“No, no no no,” Brzezinski chided, saying it was an “obvious question” and the viewers should decide for themselves.
Cuomo’s interview with Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, started as a discussion about an anonymous whistleblower who said Trump had promised a foreign leader something about Ukraine.
Giuliani, 75, almost immediately used the interview to rail against Cuomo and CNN calling the host a “sellout” and the network a “horror.” The 30 minute interview involved shouting and name calling from both Cuomo and Giuliani as they attacked the other person’s honesty.
