A South Carolina fireworks store caught fire on the Fourth of July, treating locals to an early morning fireworks show.
Firefighters in Fort Mill, South Carolina, spent about an hour Thursday morning extinguishing the fire that sparked in containers full of rockets outside Davey Jones Fireworks. Police are investigating the incident as a possible case of arson.

Doug Cianfrocca, owner of the neighboring fireworks stand Area 51 Fireworks, said he thought the fire was intentional.
“Somebody was bored, somebody wanted to see a show, somebody was drunk,” Cianfrocca said.

The fireworks store owner and authorities did not have an estimate of how many fireworks were lost in the fire or the cost of the damage. The store building was not harmed during the fire, though the fireworks containers were charred and mangled.
