The senior producer for “Morning Joe,” Jesse Rodriguez, sent a “reminder” out Saturday morning that the show had MSNBC’s “highest ratings rating ever” last quarter.
The tweet came just an hour after President Trump continued his attack on “Morning Joe” co-hosts Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough and the show for allegedly having low ratings.
Rodriguez linked to a tweet he sent out on June 27, thanking viewers for giving the show high ratings, with a caption that read: “Just a reminder about the @morning_joe ratings.”

Trump is on his third consecutive day of harshly criticizing the program and its hosts on Twitter, despite backlash from many members of his own political party.
