Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were snapped posing with Washington Capitals NHL players, including captain Alexander Ovechkin, celebrating their recent Stanley Cup victory at an upscale Georgetown restaurant.
“Hanging out in Georgetown with Ivanka,” Philip Pritchard, the Hockey Hall of Fame’s “Keeper of the Cup,” wrote on Twitter Saturday, attaching a photo of the first daughter and her husband, a fellow White House adviser, with a posse of Capitals players still basking in their Thursday night win.

Washington Post sports editor Dan Steinberg shared a video of Ovechkin and his teammates entertaining patrons at Cafe Milano, a fancy Georgetown establishment, with a rendition of Queen’s 1977 hit, “We Are The Champions,” from behind the bar.

The Washington Capitals beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights by a score of 4-3 in game five on Thursday to clinch the franchise’s first Stanley Cup.
Speculation has already begun over whether Capitals players will accept an invitation to visit the White House, after President Trump pulled his invite to the Philadelphia Eagles, last NFL season’s Super Bowl champions.
Winger Devante Smith-Pelly, a Canadian, told the National Post on Wednesday he was not “too into politics” and would not attend.
