17-year-old charged in southwestern Illinois death

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) — A southwestern Illinois teenager is charged as an adult with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old acquaintance.

Madison County prosecutors on Monday also charged 17-year-old Craig D. Miller of the Brooklyn area with aggravated discharge of a firearm.
