On Monday, several longtime political observers were marveling at how aggressive and nimble the McCain campaign has been in taking the fight to Barack Obama. Radio talk show host Roger Hedgecock, for instance, talked on the air about the McCain ad featuring a Clinton delegate from Wisconsin who now was endorsing the Republican nominee.
But that was child’s play compared to the ad McCain began running on Tuesday. Featuring the first several seconds of Hillary Clinton’s famous “3 a.m.” ad that warned that Obama might not have the right experience for a crisis, the new spot shows video of Clinton praising McCain’s qualifications for office while knocking Obama’s. Very tough stuff.
