Trump offers congratulations to former chief of staff Reince Priebus for post-White House jobs

President Trump offered congratulations to his former White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus, who announced his new roles since leaving the administration in July.

“Congrats to @Reince Priebus, a really good and talented man. We’re proud of you Reince!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.

Priebus announced Wednesday he will be returning to his old law firm, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, and joining Washington Speakers Bureau.

He worked at the Wisconsin-based law firm for 13 years before his career in politics and, in his new role as president and chief strategist, Priebus will work at the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Priebus served as chairman of the Republican National Committee from 2011 and 2017 and joined the Trump administration as the president’s chief of staff in January. He served until the end of July when he was replaced by former Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly.
