Police looking for armed liquor store robbers

Prince George’s County police are asking for help finding the men who robbed a Temple Hills liquor store at gunpoint earlier this month.

Police said the robbery happened at the Maxey Liquor Store on the 7500 block of Allentown Road at about 7:35 p.m. on June 6. Two men entered the store and demanded money as one brandished a handgun. The suspects then fled the store.

Officers searched the area, but the men weren’t located. Police released surveillance photographs of the suspects on Tuesday.

One man is described as black, between 20 and 25 years old, about 5 feet tall and between 140 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black skull cap and black clothing.

The other man is described as black, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 180 pounds. He was wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
