Hillary Clinton warned voters Friday that GOP nominee Donald Trump still stands a chance of the winning the 2016 election.
“We’ve got to keep our foot on the gas,” she said at a campaign stop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
“Donald Trump says he can still win, and you know? He’s right. Anything can happen in an election. And here’s his campaign strategy, he hasn’t made it a big secret. His strategy is: To get women to stay home. To get young people to stay home. Get people of color to stay home. It’s all part of his scorched earth campaign, the last refuge of a bankrupt candidate,” she added.
The Democratic nominee’s remarks come on the heels of the FBI announcing Friday it had found a trove of emails possibly related to its earlier investigation of her private, unauthorized homebrew server.
