WATCH: Tony Awards start off with Trump jab

The Tony Awards kicked off with a quick dig at Donald Trump and his vow to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Host James Corden tipped his hat at the diversity of the Tony nominees, saying, “Think of the Oscars, but with diversity.”

He added, “It is so diverse that Donald Trump has threatened to build a wall around this theater.”
