Hillary Clinton on Monday followed up on her own question to President Trump in which she implored him to remember that his loyalties should lie with the U.S. ahead of his first official bilateral meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Well, now we know,” she wrote on Twitter.

Her tweet was in response to a missive she sent on Sunday following France’s 4-2 win over Croatia in the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“Great World Cup. Question for President Trump as he meets Putin: Do you know which team you play for?” she wrote.
Trump on Monday angered Democrats and Republicans alike when he said during a press conference held at the conclusion of his talks with Putin in Helsinki that he was yet to see any compelling reason why the Kremlin would have interfered in the 2016 election.
Trump’s comments clash with a U.S. intelligence community assessment that Russia meddled in the election. They also come after special counsel Robert Mueller issued an indictment in federal court on Friday that alleged 12 Russian officials hacked Democratic email servers during the campaign.
Clinton has attributed Putin’s preference for Trump as one of the reasons she lost her second bid for the White House.
