FBI questioning Prince George’s police about U-Md. beating

The FBI is questioning a handful of Prince George’s County police officers about a March altercation in which three cops were videotaped beating a University of Maryland student.

According to FBI spokesman Richard Wolf, agents are interviewing nearly 40 officers. No arrests have been made, and he did not say whether the three officers involved in the incident were being interviewed.

Prince George’s Police Chief Roberto Hylton was informed Thursday that FBI agents were knocking on the doors of several officers to interview them about the beating of John McKenna. The incident took place after a basketball victory over Duke.
