Lindsay Lohan may be in love with Samantha Ronson — but that doesn’t mean she’s a lesbian, according to a report in the New York Daily News.
“She has been telling everyone over and over that she’s still into guys,” a pal revealed to the paper. “She keeps saying if anything went wrong with Sam she would date a guy next. She even flirts with guys when they go out.”
Ironically, this news comes just as Lindsay’s father, Michael, has decided to relent from criticizing Samantha, whom just last month he called “dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity.”
“I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha,” Michael confessed to New York magazine, adding, “I’m a Christian. I should not pass judgment on anyone.”
So why make those remarks on record, driving his estranged daughter even further away? “In the past, I felt that the best way to get to her was to speak out publicly,” the born-again ex-con explained. “And it was the wrong choice. Family matters should be kept private.”
Does he seriously not see the irony of saying that to a reporter? Michael, you’re never going to learn.
Jen plays field?
Though she has publicly reconnected with summer fling John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston may not be ready to settle down just yet. Page Six reports that the former “Friends” star was seen dining at the Tower Bar in L.A. — where she had dined with John only days before — with buff “300” actor Gerard Butler.
Over dinner, “they were very affectionate to each other,” a source relayed. “There was another man at the table, but he looked like he was a chaperone — or just there to stop tongues wagging. They basically ignored him.”
Nice to see Jen isn’t feeling quite as much pressure to get married as the tabloids would have us believe.
Precautionary tale
If hospitals gave out frequent-flyer miles, Amy Winehouse would have earned a free operation by now. After a home visit from a doctor Thursday — guess they still do that in England — the troubled chanteuse was admitted to the London Clinic over the weekend for testing on her chest and lungs.
Following Amy’s most recent hospital stay, in June, “they wanted to do some tests as a precaution” to determine whether she has a chest infection, her rep explained to People. “Obviously she had lung and chest problems which she had treatment for not so long ago, so they’re just making sure.”
The “Rehab” singer was expected to be released Monday. (And we wouldn’t be surprised if she was readmitted today.)
