‘Gone too far’: Franklin Graham blasts Disney’s ‘moral failure’

The Rev. Franklin Graham called out Disney for its liberal agenda, saying the entertainment company “has gone too far.”

Graham, the eldest son of the late Christian evangelist Billy Graham, warned companies in a Facebook post this weekend about being used by LGBT activists to force “woke” agendas on the general public, such as Disney has done.

“Companies may want to take another look at what they are allowing to happen,” Graham wrote. “Disney has gone too far. The people of Florida have revolted, and it’s going to cost Disney big time.”

Amid Disney’s outspoken criticism of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law on Friday removing the entertainment company’s self-governing status within the state.

“Thank God for Gov. Ron DeSantis who is willing to take a bold stand,” Graham said. “We need more leaders like him. God bless him and the Florida legislature.”

Graham also said, “What has happened at Disney is moral failure,” noting that Walt Disney desired wholesome family entertainment for the company.

“He was committed to the family,” Graham added. “The morals of the corporate leadership of Disney today are in the gutter, and they want to redefine family counter to God’s original design and flaunt sin.”

Graham encouraged his followers to not support Disney, saying, “There’s a TON of fun things for families to do here other than supporting Disney.”
